I'm Emma!
Excessive tea drinker, dog lover, mum to a very energetic toddler - Tommy, and the ‘other half’ to local sparkie - Josh.
For as long as I can remember I’ve lived and breathed creativity. Fast forward to today and nothing much has changed, except now I get to be arty for a living.
My journey started around 10 years ago when I began working as a marketing / communications specialist. Over the years I found myself falling into more of a design role and absolutely loving it. In 2020 I finally decided to pursue a career in design, and from there Blackout was born!
So, how is my past life in comms relevant to graphic design you ask? Well, it means I bring a little extra ‘somethin-somethin’ to the table. I can look at your project through the lens of both a graphic designer and a comms specialist, so you can feel confident that your project has been considered from all angles!
